Don’t Pull Out Gray Hair. A Natural Gray Hair Solution Through Haircutting.

Don’t Pull Out Gray Hair. A Natural Gray Hair Solution Through Haircutting.

When people find gray hair, many feel tempted to pull it out.

However, I do not recommend pulling out gray hair.

In the salon, clients sometimes say, “This one gray hair bothers me. Could you pull it out?”

In those cases, instead of pulling it out, I suggest cutting it short from the root when necessary.

Gray Hair Can Sometimes Change Depending on the Condition of the Body

Recent research has reported that some gray hair may regain pigment when the condition of the body improves.

Of course, not all gray hair returns to its original color.

Age and genetics also have a big influence, so this does not happen to everyone.

However, there are research reports showing that some gray hair regained color after improvements in lack of sleep or strong stress.

That is why there is no need to decide that “gray hair means it is over.”

What I think is important first is,

not accumulating too much stress

getting enough sleep

moving your body moderately

eating a balanced diet

These daily habits are important.

Hair is a mirror that reflects the condition of the body.

That is why, instead of looking only at the hair,
I believe it is important to take care of the whole body
and especially to reduce stress.

Stress is the root of many illnesses.

But reducing stress is not that easy, is it?
That is why, at the very least, during the time clients spend in the hair salon,
I try to create a space where they can truly relax.

Gray Hair Can Be Made Less Noticeable Not Only With Color, but Also With Haircutting

When gray hair starts to bother people, many first think of hair color.

Of course, hair color is a very good method.

However, in some cases, haircutting can also make gray hair less noticeable.

For example,

cutting only the gray hairs close to the scalp

creating a hairstyle that works with any parting

making the fringe design slightly thicker

cutting the areas where gray hair tends to gather short from the root

creating movement with layers to disperse the line of sight

Even with these kinds of adjustments, the impression of gray hair can change.

Especially for people who are bothered by only a few gray hairs around the fringe or face line, it may become less noticeable with haircutting alone, without coloring the whole head every time.

When people think of gray hair solutions, “coloring” often gets all the attention, but there are many things haircutting can do as well.

I value haircutting that does not simply make the hair shorter, but helps reduce small daily concerns as much as possible.

If you have started to notice gray hair, instead of choosing hair color as the only option right away, please consider asking whether there is a way to improve it through haircutting.

More than you might expect, haircutting alone can make a difference.
