What do you look for in a hair salon?

For example, some people want to have their hair cut by someone who’s technically skilled,
while others simply want to enjoy a relaxing time.
Some may prefer someone who finishes quickly,
and others may want someone who takes time carefully.
I believe everyone has their own idea of what “comfort” in a salon means.
As a hairdresser, I’ve designed hairstyles for many people in Japan and overseas.
But what I’ve realized over the years is this —
“There isn’t just one right answer.”
That’s why I don’t have a fixed way of doing things.
There’s no manual that says, “If you do this, it’ll always work.”
The time, the conversation, the atmosphere, the hairstyle —
I create each of them together with the client,
finding what’s best for that individual.
That’s my style.
For instance,
some people want a quick 10-minute cut,
while others prefer to take two hours to refine every detail.
Some love to chat a lot,
and others just want a quiet, peaceful moment.
Whatever the type of person, I take time to match their needs.
To me, that’s what true “service” means.
Of course, that requires solid technical skill.
Only with strong experience and technique
can you have the freedom to adapt to each person.
“For whom, and how, do I adjust?”
I can do that because
I’ve cut hair for people all around the world and experienced many cultures.
What does each client truly want?
What kind of time do they wish to spend?
By sensing that,
I shape a style that best fits their “now.”
That’s the personalized service I provide —
just for you.
