The Status of the Future Is Defined by the Richness of the Heart

Lately, I’ve been thinking that the meaning of the word “status” is starting to change.
In the past, it was expressed through obvious things like money, houses, cars, or luxury brands.
But in today’s world, those things alone can’t define a person’s value.

Many people have probably already realized it.
We compare ourselves to others on social media,
but no matter how expensive the things we own are,
or how impressive our titles may be,
if our hearts aren’t fulfilled, we can’t truly call it happiness.

There Are as Many Forms of Happiness as There Are People

Everyone wants to be happy.
But the shape of happiness must be different for each person.
Yet, through social media, ads, and the media, we’re constantly shown images of “this is happiness” or “this is success.”

We might find ourselves thinking, “Ah, so that’s the right answer.”
But if we look closer, what our hearts truly want might not be that at all.
True happiness isn’t something others decide for us—it’s something we feel from within.

Wasting Time Is Proof of a Rich Heart

I believe that the “status” of the future is about how much time you can spend doing what you love.

That’s because, all around the world, more and more people now live without struggling for food, clothing, or shelter.

For example, growing your own vegetables and living self-sufficiently, or diving into a quirky hobby that few people understand—
things that might seem “inefficient” or “pointless” to others.
But within that kind of “waste” lies humanity and emotional richness.

Rather than chasing efficiency and productivity,
it’s about asking, “What am I living for?” and “What feels truly comfortable to me?”
That way of living—that’s what I believe will define richness in the coming era.

Hairstyles Are a Reflection of Inner Richness

It’s the same with hairstyles.
Instead of adjusting to trends or public opinion,
choosing a style that you genuinely love is what connects you to inner richness.

A hairstyle chosen to please others can’t compare
to one that truly makes your heart happy.

Rather than chasing trends or “the right answer,”
choose a hairstyle that feels good to you, that makes you smile.
That’s what I believe it means to express your true self.

What Does “Cool” Mean from Now On?

In the coming era,
the “cool” people are those
who don’t rely on brands or titles, but cherish what they truly love.

Those who live by their own standards, not by the eyes of others.
Those who don’t force themselves to follow trends, but instead treasure the moments that make them genuinely smile.

People like that are, in the truest sense, “cool.”
And I believe that kind of lifestyle will become the new “status” from here on.

Designing Emotional Richness—Through Hair and Through Life

As a hairdresser,
I want to design emotional richness through cutting hair.
It’s not just about improving appearances—
it’s about helping people live in a way that feels true to themselves.

It’s not about what hairstyle is “right.”
It’s about which hairstyle makes you feel happy.
That’s what I want to discover together with each person who sits in my chair.

Live by What You Love

The status of the future will be defined by
how much you can love yourself, and how much space you can keep in your heart.

Richness that can’t be compared to anyone else—your own kind of richness.
If you can express that richness through your lifestyle and your hair, that would be the best of all.
