Why I Only See Two Clients a Day – This Style Came from Truly Caring About Hair
Quality time with each guest, not just quantity
I only take up to two guests a day—one in the morning, one in the afternoon. That’s it.
“Wouldn’t you earn more if you took more clients?”
I get asked that sometimes.
But for me, what’s far more important is truly facing each guest—their hair and their life.
It’s not just about cutting hair
A haircut isn’t just about making things neat.
I always imagine the scenes ahead in your life—who you’ll meet, where you’re going, and how you want to feel—while I cut.
Creating a hairstyle that fits your life—not just your face—takes time.
No rushing. No assembly line.
That’s why I limit myself to two clients a day.
What I can do because it’s one-on-one
From consultation to shampoo, cut, color, and styling—I do everything myself.
No assistants. No handoffs.
That’s exactly why I can do things like:
- Adjust the order of application based on how your scalp reacts
- Offer several finishing styles depending on your hair’s texture and how it dries
- Respond to moments like, “Actually, I feel a bit different today”
It may sound like a small thing,
but I believe noticing subtle changes in hair is part of what makes a true professional.
It’s not about being a “celebrity hairdresser” — it’s about your time
I’m not aiming to be one of those flashy stylists you see on social media.
But if a guest leaves thinking,
“I actually kind of like myself a little more today,”
that’s the best thing I could hope for.
I want you to feel like this time and space is all yours.
That’s why I’ll continue offering this “two clients a day” style of service.
A visit to the salon might be just a small detour in your day.
But sometimes, a change in your hair can shift your mood in a good way.
If I can quietly help with that, I’m happy.
