Which brings out your beauty more: the Golden Ratio or the Silver Ratio?

Which brings out your beauty more: the Golden Ratio or the Silver Ratio?

Have you ever heard of the “Golden Ratio” or “Silver Ratio” — the beautiful balance between width and height?
These terms often appear in the beauty world, but the truth is, they don’t define a single “right” answer.

What I value most is using these beautiful ratios to find the balance that best suits each individual.

For example, the Golden Ratio is 1:1.618.
It’s seen in Greek architecture, the Mona Lisa, and international fashion models — often called the “perfect” ratio.
The Silver Ratio is 1:1.414.
It appears in Japan’s Horyu-ji Temple and traditional paper sizes — a ratio that feels calming and familiar.

This difference actually shows up in hairstyles too.

  • The Golden Ratio helps create a well-balanced hairstyle regardless of face shape or bone structure.
  • The Silver Ratio creates a softer, rounder balance that gives a gentle and reassuring impression.

The important point is:
the Golden Ratio isn’t “better,” and the Silver Ratio isn’t “the answer.”

Everyone has their own kind of beauty.
Copying someone else’s “perfect” ratio doesn’t always feel right for you.

In my consultations,
I consider your facial features, bone structure, hair texture, and even how you want to be perceived —
then work together to find the most natural, balanced ratio for you.

Maybe shortening the neckline makes your neck look longer and your overall silhouette more balanced.
Or maybe slightly widening the bangs makes your facial features appear more defined.
That’s how I use small changes in hairstyle to adjust the ratio.

Talking about ratios might sound complicated, but
it’s actually something we all feel in everyday life.

Like when you look in the mirror and think, “Today I look really balanced.”
That’s probably because your personal ratio is just right that day.

That’s why I never say “This hairstyle suits you best.”
Instead, I want to explore “your Golden Ratio” or “your Silver Ratio” with you.

We’re not chasing someone else’s idea of perfection.
We’re going for a balance that feels “just right” — to you.

That’s what I believe real beauty is all about.
