The Difference Between a Salon That Focuses on Speed and Me, Who Focuses on How Time Is Spent

Lately, I often see advertisements for salons promoting speed, like “Cut + Color + Treatment in 2 hours.”
It’s true that finishing quickly is convenient, and in our busy daily lives it can be a very welcome service.
But when I see that, to be honest, I feel a little conflicted.
My style is completely one-on-one.
From consultation to finish, I handle everything myself.
So, especially for first-time clients, the process inevitably takes more time.
Sometimes, even just the consultation before starting the actual service can easily take over 30 minutes.
You might think, “Does it really take that long?”
But that time isn’t just “time spent touching your hair,”
it’s “time spent truly facing your hair.”
I don’t just ask, “What shall we do today?” and finish in five minutes.
I ask about how you usually manage your hair, what kind of clothes you like, how much time you have in the morning,
which hairstyles have suited you in the past, and which ones you didn’t like.
I listen to these one by one and carefully build the design together with you.
A hairstyle isn’t just about “appearance.”
It only truly feels right when it fits your lifestyle and mood.
That’s why I want to take the time to really get to know you.
Of course, it’s not that a “one-hour salon” is bad.
It’s simply that the needs are different.
Some of my clients also value the “time” saved and prefer shorter services.
For those clients, I eliminate as much waste as possible and prepare carefully in advance,
while still providing high-quality hair design in the shortest time possible.
But if you’ve ever thought,
“No matter where I go, it never feels quite right,”
“It feels like I’m just being processed through, and it leaves me unsatisfied,”
“I wish there were a stylist who truly cared about me,”
then maybe a stylist like me would be a better fit for you.
It does take more time,
but that’s because I want to create a result together with you that you can truly feel satisfied with.
I want to bring your “I wish I could be like this” into reality.
There’s only one reason I take this time:
because I genuinely want to be involved in your life.
Not speed, but depth.
Not efficiency, but satisfaction.
If you want to choose a salon based on that kind of value,
I’d be glad if this message resonates with you.
