A Haircut That Doesn’t Rely on a Fixed Parting

A Haircut That Doesn’t Rely on a Fixed Parting

When you get a haircut at a salon, you’ve probably been asked, “Which way do you part your hair?” or “Which side do you usually sweep it to?”
In that moment, did you feel a little nervous, thinking, “If I don’t explain properly, it might not turn out the way I want”?

In my haircuts, I actually don’t place that much importance on the parting.
That’s because I create styles that look natural and flattering no matter which way you part or sweep the hair.

Why I Don’t Fix the Parting

If you always set your part in the same spot, it can lead to thinning hair in that area, more noticeable gray hairs, and stress on the scalp.
Plus, if your hair can only go in one direction, changing your style in the future becomes harder.

That’s why I intentionally avoid fixing the parting in my designs.
Whether it’s to the right, left, front, or back, the style blends in naturally and holds its shape.
I believe offering this kind of “highly flexible haircut” brings the greatest benefit to my clients.

Everyday Styling at Home Becomes Easier

There are many advantages to a haircut that doesn’t rely on a fixed parting:

  • You can change the parting freely to match your mood or the occasion
  • It’s easier to adjust volume where needed
  • Style changes are more achievable
  • Morning styling takes less than five minutes

In short, I prioritize making it easy for you to style your hair at home.

A Rare Approach in the Industry

Most hairstylists decide on a certain flow or parting when cutting hair.
That’s not necessarily a bad thing—in fact, it’s a traditional method that helps maintain style stability.

But I design hair with a mindset that isn’t bound by fixed ideas.
This approach comes from my experience working with over 10,000 clients in London and Omotesando.

“Even if you don’t think about your parting, your hair looks naturally beautiful from every angle.”
If that’s the kind of hairstyle you have, I believe you’ll enjoy each day more comfortably and happily.

The parting isn’t something you must absolutely decide on.
A hairstyle that moves freely and looks great from any direction—
That’s the strength of my haircuts and the biggest advantage for my clients.

“Maybe I’ll part it to the right today.” “Let’s go left for a change.”
These small choices can bring more joy and individuality to your everyday life.
