I No Longer Just Sell Hairstyles

Being a hairdresser is often seen as a job where the goal is simply to cut and style hair.
But I’ve chosen not to stop there.

Because what clients are truly seeking at a salon isn’t just a “hairstyle.”

The Concept of Limitless Added Value

Even with the same cut or color, the value felt can vary greatly from person to person.

  • People who want to relax in a calm salon space
  • Those who want to chat and talk about work, family, or relationships
  • Clients who wish to spend time quietly and reflect without interruptions
  • Guests who want to enjoy a delicious drink

Each person seeks something different.
That’s why simply styling hair isn’t enough to deliver true satisfaction to everyone.

What matters most to me is discovering that “unique added value” together—from among infinite possibilities.

What I Value in Consultations

In every initial consultation, I always focus on asking not just about what you like—
but more importantly, what you dislike.

Humans tend to care more about “avoiding loss” than “gaining something.”
That’s why I don’t want anyone to leave the salon with regret or discomfort.

  • What styles do you dislike?
  • What kind of customer service makes you uncomfortable?
  • What kind of salon experience do you not want to have?

I go through these points carefully to eliminate all the negatives.
Then, by building on positive experiences, I hope you’ll feel, “I’m glad I came to this salon.”

Skill Is a Given—What Comes Beyond

Of course, delivering high-quality cuts, colors, perms, and straightening is a basic expectation.
I’ve worked on over 10,000 clients in London and Omotesando, and also trained other stylists as a technical director.

But what I truly focus on is “technique + alpha”—
Not just the final look, but the way time is spent, and how satisfied your heart feels. That’s what I call “total value.”

A hair salon is not just a place to get a new hairstyle.
It’s a space where I aim to connect with each client’s heart and deliver that unique sense of added value.

As a hairdresser, what I pursue is the limitless possibility that lies beyond the hair itself.
